James David Maslow (born July 16, 1990) is an American singer, actor and dancer. He is best known for playing the role of James Diamond onNickelodeon's Big Time Rush and is a member of the boy music group with the same name.

James David Maslow was born in New York and raised in La Jolla, California.

At the age of six, Maslow began training as a singer when his parents placed him in the San Diego's Childrens Choir. He attended La Jolla and Torrey Pines elementary schools, Muirlands Middle School, and San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. He had a small role in the San Diego Opera's production of La boheme when he was 10 years old. He attended acting camp at the La Jolla Playhouse, got his first agent when he was 14, and performed as Marius in a production of Les Miserables Quitting the School of Creative and Performing Arts mid-way through the 10th grade, Maslow switched to Coronado School of the Arts (CoSA). He graduated from CoSA in 2007 in the musical theater department.

Big Time Rush is an American pop singing group that formed in 2009. The other three members are Kendall Schmidt, Carlos Pena Jr.., and Logan Henderson, all on vocals.

Nickelodeon cast for the new sitcom in 2007. Maslow sent in his audition tape and received the role of James Diamond two years later.

He and his bandmates have recorded many songs, which include the theme song, "Big Time Rush", "Any Kind Of Guy", "City Is Ours", "Halfway There", "Famous", "Shot in the Dark", "Stuck", etc. An album of original songs from the first season plus some others was released October 11, 2010, entitled B.T.R It sold 67,000 copies in its first week and was certified Gold by the RIAA six months later in April 2011.

On November 21, 2011, the band released their second album called "Elevate" which sold 70, 000 copies on its first week. Maslow and his band mates co wrote 8 out of the 12 songs. Maslow wrote "Elevate", "Love Me Love Me" and the first single from the album, "Music Sounds Better With U". The UK version of the album included a bonus song called "Epic" which he also helped write.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Logan Philip Henderson born on September 14, 1989 is an American actor and singer-songwriter. He is best known for his starring role as Logan Mitchell on the Nickelodeon series, Big Time Rush, as well as being a member of the Big Time Rush Band itself. He, along with the band, have won and been nominated for multiple awards over the past few years. He also has been part of other t.v shows other than Big Time Rush.

Henderson was born and raised in Texas. He had a small role as a bully on the television programs Friday Night Lights before moving to California at the age of 18, to pursue his acting career. Logan's breakthrough role was Big Time Rush. He plays Logan Mitchell, the person who is always getting the group out of trouble. Henderson and the rest of Big Time Rush made an appearance at the 2010 and 2012 Kids' Choice Award and performed at the 2011 Kids' Choice Award. He also appeared in an episode of Brain Surge during the week of April 18–22, 2011. Henderson and Big Time Rush made a guest appearance on Figure it Out sometime in June 2012.

Henderson signed with Sony Music Entertainment and Columbia Records as a part of Big Time Rush in 2009. After releasing four promotional singles including "Big Time Rush", "City Is Ours", "Halfway There", and "Til I Forget About You" the group released their debut album B.T.R. on October 11, 2010. Henderson co-wrote on the song "Oh Yeah" off of B.T.R.. The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200, and at #1 on the iTunes digital albums list. It was later certified Gold in the U.S. and Mexico. They released their second album Elevate on November 21, 2011. Henderson co-wrote "Time of Our Life" with Nicholas "Ras" Furlong. In addition, Henderson was able to co-write three songs off Elevate including "Music Sounds Better With U", "Love Me Love Me " and "Superstar"​​.

Carlos Pena Jr.

Carlos gets the laughs! Though he also picks the fights. With his hockey helmet in tow, he is always ready to go — whether he's cracking jokes or sticking up for his friends. His heart is in the right place!

Kendall began his acting career at age five, appearing in a Chex television commercial. When he was nine years old, he was one of two young actors who were hired to be Haley Joel Osment's stand-in and body double (they shared the same agent) in the Steven Spielberg film, A.I. Artificial Intelligence. He celebrated his birthday on the set, and Spielberg and the cast surprised him with a birthday cake decorated with Star Wars figures. When he was 10 years old, his family finally made the move from Kansas to California. Schmidt soon landed recurring roles on General Hospital, Titus, Raising Dad, Gilmore Girls and CSI: Miami. He guest starred on a variety of TV shows, including ER, MADtv, Frasier and Phil of the Future. Most recently, Kendall guest starred on Without a Trace and Ghost Whisperer. On the big screen, he has appeared in Minority Report and According to Spencer. In 2009, Schmidt was cast as the lead of the TV show Big Time Rush. Kendall portrays a character like himself with the name of Kendall Knight, the calm and relaxed member of Big Time Rush.

Kendall Schmidt is a part of the boy band Big Time Rush. They have released 2 Albums so far. Beforehand, Schmidt was a part of a duo band called Heffron Drive between him and BTR's now guitarist, Dustin Belt. He was also the replacement lead singer of the band "Lovers Make Liars" and also performed with the band at the 2008 Vans Warped Tour.

Carlos Roberto Pena Jr. (born August 15, 1989) is an American actor, singer-songwriter, and dancer. He is best known for starring on the Nickelodeon series Big Time Rush as Carlos García in addition to being a member of the band Big Time Rush.

 

His first major role was a guest shot at age 15 on ER, followed later that year by guest-starring roles on Judging Amy, Summerland, and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

While still in high school, Pena appeared in television commercials for the Super Soaker brand recreational water gun, and his image even appeared on the toy's packaging.

Pena was studying musical theater at the Boston Conservatory when his manager urged him to audition for Big Time Rush. Although he was reluctant to do so, he submitted an audition tape and won the role a month later. Pena moved to Hollywood in August 2009

Carlos was born in Columbia, Missouri. His father is of Spanish and Venezuelan descent, while his mother is of Dominican descent. He was raised in Weston, Florida. He attended Sagemont Upper School where he was a cheerleader. He appeared in local productions of Grease and Man of La Mancha. He also had a role in the American Heritage School, where he attended before leaving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career, production of Titanic. During his run in Titanic he fell in love with singing and dancing.
